Reel Comic Heroes 029 - Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back

This is a big one, citizens. We're always nervous to tackle some of the classic films on our list. But as we've learned; "Do or do not, there is no try".

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back picks up three years after Luke destroyed the Death Star. Leia, Han, Chewie and C3PO are on the run from Darth Vader and his minions while Luke and R2 seek out an ancient Jedi master to complete his training.

Empire is considered by some to be the best of the entire Saga. Give this a listen to see where we landed on it.

Trailer Talk 006 - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

We interrupt this podcast to bring you an unscheduled Trailer Talk. To our surprise, Lucasfilm decided to drop a little Rogue One action on us. With the movie coming out this December, we were starting to get a little concerned/confused with the lack of material being released for this 'Star Wars Story', set before the events of A New Hope.

We will be return next week with our review of 1979s TV Movie version of Captain America.

You can find our show on iTunes and/or Stitcher by searching 'Reel Comic Heroes'. Please take a moment to rate and review the show on iTunes.

Reel Comic Heroes 017 - Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope - Part 1 with Rory Spence

On May 25th, 1977 Star Wars made its debut and blew the world away with its incredible set pieces, effects and dramatic adventure. Twenty years later, the creator of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, George Lucas returned Luke, Leia and Han to the big screen with new special effects in order to get the movie closer to his original vision.

Join us as we take our first step into a larger world along with our first guest, Rory Spence from Hangover Reviews. We had a great time talking about this movie with Rory and actually decided to split it into two parts.

We'd love to know your thoughts on the show, and about Star Wars. Email us and we'll share them on an upcoming episode.
